Ngày 16/08/2009, khởi công dự án 6 tỷ USD: khu đô thị Đông Sài Gòn
Dự án khu đô thị Đông Sài Gòn là một phần trong tổng thể quy hoạch khu đô thị mới Nhơn Trạch. Tổng diện tích dự án 942 ha được quy hoạch với các đặc trưng:
• Không gian mở - • Nhiều cây xanh - • Văn minh, hiện đại - • Chất lượng hạ tầng cơ sở cao cấp - • Quy mô dân số 150.000 người.
Bao gồm:
